What Does This Chest X-ray Report For Fever And Cold In An Infant Indicate?
Dear Doctor, My son 7th months old, frequently suffering from fever, cold and cough. We have done bold test and X - Ray chest report reveals: bony thorax is normal left perihilar non - homogeneous opacities are seen, suggestive of bronchopneumonia. Pleura is normal, heart and aorta show normal size. Hopefully there is no any major problem? Kindly advise. Thanks, Ramesh Basa
You should consult with his pediatrician because bronchopneumonia needs antibiotics and follow up by the doctor. Do not worry with the right treatment and care your son will be better in two weeks.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
