What Does This Chest X-ray Report Indicate?

Good day. Before about 3 yrs ago, i have my chest x ray. The result was suspecious densities on the right upper lobe. I have already my sputum lab and the result was negative . Again this time, i have again my chest x ray and the result is suspecious densities on the right upper lung. They require me for apicolordotic view. Is this could be possibly a scar or fibrosis.? Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response

Welcome at HCM
I have gone through your and being your physcian ii completely understand your health concerns.
What is ur age? any other associated problem? like diabetes or hyptertension? any history of TB in past or exposure to TB? are u having fever? any other lymph node swelling in ur body?is swelling on both sides of neck or not? are u smoker? what is ur occupation?

As far as standard regular chest X-ray is concerned , it involves a back to front view and a side view
< LATERAL VIEW>. The lungs are filled with air and they appear as dark shadows on a chest X-ray film. Anything denser than air will appear white on the film
The apicolordotic (apical lordotic) view visualizes diseases at the top of the lung better than normal view. It looks for pulmonary nodules that are lesions from pulmonary tuberculosis (PTB), or pulmonary nodules that are either benign or malignant .

meanwhile stay calm
get well soon
Hope your query is adequately addressed if you still have any feel free to ask
Regards
Dr Saad Sultan
