Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was just recently diagnosed with Crohn s disease. Biopsies show there are Granulomatous in my colon. My doctor sent me for a chest xray & CT scan. The chest xray report said there may be some minimal chronic appearing apical pleural parenchymal scarring on the right lung . What does this mean and does it have anything to do with Crohn s?
Thank you for your question No direct relation ship between lung lesion and crohns disease This lesion in the lung may indicate old TB, pneumonia, or scarring No direct treatment for the lesion Ct scan of chest very important to rule out mass/ tumour
