This is the results on a chest X-ray I had. Could u tell me if this is means I have the onset of pulmonary fibrosis. Radiology Report: Chest 2 Views Routine - 02/04/2016 Results xray, chest Value CHEST PA AND LATERAL: CLINICAL INFORMATION PROVIDED: Chest pain, cough, pulmonary fibrosis. FINDINGS: There are increased interstitial markings bilaterally, most pronounced at the lung bases. At the lung bases, there is a fine reticulonodular pattern. This can be seen in chronic lung disease such as pulmonary fibrosis. No evidence of consolidation or pleural effusion. There is mild thoracic spondylosis. IMPRESSION: 1. THERE IS A FINE RETICULONODULAR PATTERN MOST PRONOUNCED AT THE LUNG BASES. THIS CAN BE SEEN IN UNDERLYING CHRONIC LUNG DISEASE SUCH AS PULMONARY FIBROSIS. 2. NO ACUTE CARDIOPULMONARY PROCESS IS SEEN.
