What Does This Chest X-ray Finding Indicate?

my chest x-ray has the impression "Haziness noted in bilateral lower zones obscuring right costophrenic-Likely soft tissues overlap" and

Radiodense opacity noted in left lower zone overlying left costophrenic angle- ?? Pleural Effusion?? External.

What does that mean

Hello.
A chest xray has to be interpreted carefully, as both normal and abnormal structures appear white, and multiple layers of tissue from the skin to the lung are superimposed.
In your report there is haziness in both lower zones of lung- this is a non-specific finding and needs clinical correlation, eg infection.
It is also mentioned that there is obscuration of the right costophrenic angle- this usually occurs with pleural disease (pleura is a thin covering over the lungs), but in your case there is a doubt of soft tissue overlap.
The left costophrenic angle is also showing an opacity- unsure diagnosis of whether the abnormality is in the pleura (could be a loculated pleural effusion) or on the skin/soft tissue.

When there is doubt of origin of abnormal opacities on an xray, it is best to consider the clinical history and other test results and then take a call to either repeat the xray or better than that to do a CT scan of the chest.
You should think about consulting a Chest Specialist for the same.
Hope I have helped you understand your problem.
