Hello and welcome to HCM, The findings that you have described on X-ray chest are due to tuberculosis. These findings resolve after treatment of tuberculosis. The anti-tuberculosis treatment lasts for 6-9 months and the findings on X-ray chest also resolve after this period. Thus, you need to wait for another 4-6 months for the consolidation and nodulo-cystic parenchymal infiltration to disappear. The lesions are tuberculosis are often replaced by fibrous tissue or fibrous bands. Thus, get a repeat X-ray after a month or so.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
