What Does This Chest X-ray Report Mean?
Hi, In my X-Ray Chest Report it was given as shown below: Prominent Bronchovasacular marking noted in both lung fileds. Both hila are normal. Cardiac size within normal limits. Both domes of diaphrenic are normal. Both cardio and costophrenic angles are free. Bone Cage and soft tissue are normal. FOR CLINICAL CORRELATION

Your chest X-ray shows prominent broncho-vascular marking, these get prominent only when the airways of respiratory passages gets filled with fluids or mucus. X-rays are taken during inhalation so that there may be more clarity in the X-ray report obtained. The airways when filled with fluids lead to breathing problems and chronic conditions as the lungs are essential airways for the exchange of oxygen.
it can be indicative of fluids, blockages, or infections in the lungs. You have not mentioned your symptoms. Your lung condition will be correlated with the pathology detected. Get treatment done at the earliest. Rest of your report shows normal result. Cardiac size is normal, both hila are normal, bone cage, soft tissue and the rest of the report is normal.
