What Does This Echocardiogram Report Indicate?
Hi, Why SVT was suspected? Any complaints like episodic palpitation or dizziness? ECHO report shows that pressure in lung circulation is mildly increased, leading to mild enlargement of right heart chamber. As mentioned, this can happen when there is a chronic lung disease, morbid obesity or severe snoring/obstructive sleep apnea. But remember that, any report is to be analysed on clinical background only. In a totally asymptomatic patient, this may not necessitate any treatment other than life style and diet changes to control obesity and underlying cause if any. Your doctor will discuss in detail.
