A recent ECHO revealed a root aorta of 40 mm. The aorta valve is normal and LHV (13.6 mm). I am a 49 year old male and weight 185 pound. I have HP and usually run 10 to 15 miles a week. Any initial assessment for me to understand the scope of this indicators?
According to the ECHO result your cardiologist should refer you to a cardiac surgeon to discuss about these findings which probably needs surgery intervention. One ot the usual cause is the non treated high blood pressure
