Hello,

The 2D echo result can be considered very minimally abnormal given your father's history.

it states that your father's left ventricle enlargement is positive but that is expected given the 24 year history of hypertension. Other than that all are normal RWMA means regional wall motion abnormality which is normal. it means that the heart is pumping well despite the enlargement. There is diastolic dysfunction which means that heart has trouble relaxing, again given the enlargement it's bound to happen. Ejection fraction is within normal limits which means heart pumps adequate amount of blood needed during each beat.

with proper meditations and supportive measures the condition can be well controlled without significant complications.
