What Does This Echocardiogram Specify?

My left atrium is moderately dilated la area 27cm2 . My systolic l v function
Appears globally and at least moderately impaired. The mid atrial septum appears thinned and mobile with a smallL- R shuntin this region suggesting small ASD/PFO can you please explain all this in layman terms that I can understand. The information I had a Echocardiogram thanking you Helen
