hi doctor, my name is jintu, i am from kerala, age: 25, male,i have breathing difficulty through nose, in last endoscopy doc. told that adenoid is very big in size, i have loud snoring problem.i have deviated nasal septum towards right septal spur indenting right inferior turbinate,bilateral inferior turbinate hypertrophy.bilateral paradoxial middle turbinate,mucosal thickening in the right frontal sinus, both maxillary sinusses and bilateral anterior and posterior ethmoid air cells,what should i go for, ?, please help me

Hello,

The endoscopy shows enlarged adenoids which is the major cause of loud snoring. The adenoids need to be surgically removed. In addition, the deviated nasal septum is causing hypertrophy of inferior turbinate and mucosal thickening of all sinuses.

After removal of adenoids, the deviated nasal septum needs to surgically corrected. The hypertrophy of turbinates and mucosal thickening will revert to normal once deviated nasal septum is corrected. Kindly, consult your ENT specialist for further management.
