What Does This Fecalysis Report During Pregnancy Mean?
hi , my fecalysis result shows macroscopic color : greenish brown consistency: soft microscopic findings: Bacteria: Abundant Red Blood Cells: 0-2 White Blood cells: 0-3 Yeast Cells: NS parasites: Ova and Parasites: NS what does this mean ?? any suggestion on what med to take? I m 25 weeks pregnant. im 34 years old. thanks.
Hi, Welcome to HCM. The interpretation of fecalysis report is as follows: Colour and consistency is normal. In microscopic findings, RBCs and WBCs are normal. There is no indication of fungal or parasitic infection. But, bacteria is abundantly seen. Presence of bacteria states the presence of infection. Thus, this report is suggestive of presence of infection. Consult your doctor with reports for prescription of appropriate antibiotic. Take care and all the best.
