General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Spondyloarthropathy is a type of inflammatory arthritis that affects the joints in the spine and other body parts. It is a chronic condition typically managed with medication, physical therapy, and lifestyle changes. The SGPT (ALT) and SGOT levels you mentioned are indicators of liver function, which may be elevated in some cases of spondyloarthropathy due to the use of certain medications.

It is important to consult with your doctor to determine the best course of treatment for your condition and monitor your liver function and any other potential side effects of medication. Additionally, it is important to consider Fatty liver (Steatosis), which you have as various factors, including genetics, obesity, diabetes, and excessive alcohol consumption, can cause it.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Priyanka, General & Family Physician
