What Does This Heart Rate Indicate While On Holter Monitor?
I am currently wearing a Holter monitor. my heart rate was 48 yesterday in the office. I had surgery for bleeding ulcers two weeks ago, backsurgery 10 years ago and another bleeding ulcer surgery 11 years ago. After this last surgery they couldn t get me stabilized (BP,pulse, etc). Now my two week checkup shows a hear rate of 48 BP 104/68. Holter Monitor for two days and return. Should I be concerned.

I really appreciate your concern, such bradycardia could be it self due to cardiac event and not related with any other history, it is really matter of concern and better to see the cardiologist underlying cause of this need to be known, hope this information may helps you take care and have a nice day.
