Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Recently had a Heart Scan. Results are LAD - 50%, Left Circumflex Coronary Artery - 43%, all others - 0%. History of Hypertension, controlled on Diovan/HCT every other day, Baby ASA. Family history of both parents with Bypass surgery in their late 60 s. I am a 61 year old white female with no symptoms of SOB or chest discomfort. Now what should I do? Can I reverse these results?
Your results are good and in absence of any pathological signs or symptoms any cardiac problem just maintain the good health. Please also go for Lipid profile check which is the main reason for heart blockages leading to heart diseases. If needed you would be advised a cholesterol control pill.
