Thank you for your query.
Would you please clarify a few things for me?
1) are you a diabetic or hypertensive?
2)are you on any medications ?
3)did you have any recent illness, frothing urine or blood in the urine?
4)any swelling around your eyes, ankles, anywhere in your body?
Your investigation reports are normal, except for the glomerular filtration rate (GFR) which shows a mild to a moderately reduced flow (normal is between 90-120)
This may signify a decline in normal
kidney function secondary to a chronic disease that affects kidneys (
diabetes or
hypertension)
The ACR (
albumin creatinine ratio) also helps detect kidney disease and together with the estimated Gfr can help your physician make adjustments in your treatment regimen that will enable better and tighter control of sugars and blood pressure to prevent further kidney damage.
The EGFR is calculated based on the fact that the
serum creatinine remains constant. It is a reflected value and not a direct once and hence correlation with other parameters and clinical findings is necessary.
Hope I've answered your query.
