What Does This Hysterosalpingogram Report Specify?
the impression of Hystero-SalphingoGram says 1) Synechiae in right upper uterine cavity 2) Bilaeral free peritoneal spill seen. Can anyone help us under stand the report. Im a 31yr old female, married for 7yrs now. Have never get pregnant and trying for it. Pls help us understand it and medical solution to it....
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. After going through the HSG report you have posted, the following things can be inferred: 1. Bilateral free peritoneal spill seen indicates that the fallopian tubes are patent both sides. 2. Synechiae in right upper uterine cavity indicates that there is formation of intrauterine adhesions. As part of Asherman syndrome, it results from injury to the endometrium, and is often associated with infertility. Fertility may sometimes be restored by removal of adhesions by adhesion dissection (adhesiolysis) through operative hysteroscopy. Kindly consult Gynaecologist with the report for appropriate management. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
