What Does This Lab Report Indicate?

HI we are from the Philippines my husband took a test just yesterday because he experienced his left foot swell and lip tremors. The test results are creatinine 86, uric acid 608, alt/Sgpt 141. I really don t understand but there is a note that the results are high more than the usual, what seems to be the problem?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
I have undergone through your report.
But you have not mention about the unit of the result.
Creatinine 86 mg/dl is not possible.
I assume that it is 86 µmol/L that is equal to 0.9 mg/dl and it is with in reference range.

Uric acid also 608 mg/dl is not possible and it is very very high.
So i assume it is 608 µmol/L and it is equal to 10.2 mg/dl and it above the reference range.
High uric acid could be renal damage.

Normal reference range for SGPT is 10-62 IU/L.
You have 141IU/L and it is above reference range.
It should be correlated with the other liver profile test.
High level could be due to liver damage, fatty liver, hepatitis, side effect of medicine.

I would suggest to upload your report at report section in premium service of HCM for better management.
You can ask your physician for renal disease and live disease.

Hope this may help you
Best regards
Dr. Sagar
