What Does This Lab Report Indicate?

What does all this meanOsseous structures: The morphology and signal intensity of the visualized tibia and fibula talus calcaneus tarsal bones and proximal metatarsals appears normal. The hind foot suggest possibly varus malalignment on these nonweight bearing views. on these nonweight bearing views. Tendons: The Achilles tendon demonstrates normal signal intensity. Minimal fluid and/or edema is noted anterior to the distal Achilles tendon. The plantar fascia appears to be normal thickness. Minimal edema and/or fluid is seen interposed between the proximal central slip of the plantar fascia and the calcaneal tuberosity. Posterior tibial, flexor digitorum, flexor hallucis tendons demonstrate normal course caliber and signal. Peroneal tendons demonstrate normal course, caliber, and signal. The tibialis anterior, extensor digitorum, extensor hallucis and peroneus tertius tendons are unremarkable. Ligaments: Anterior and posterior talofibular ligaments are intact. Calcaneofibular ligament is unremarkable. Anterior and posterior inferior tibiofibular ligaments are intact. Superficial and deep deltoid ligament fibers are intact. Visualized talocalcaneal ligaments are unremarkable. Visualized portions of the inter cuneiform and inter metatarsal ligaments, bifurcate and Lisfranc s ligaments are unremarkable. There is no mass in the tarsal tunnel. There is preservation of fat within the sinus tarsi. No prominent myositis nor muscle atrophy present. IMPRESSION: 1. Possible hind foot malalignment. 2. Minimal fluid signal intensity adjacent to the proximal plantar fascia could indicate some very minimal changes of plantar fasciitis without actual pathologic thickening or edema in the plantar fascia. No additional convincing evidence of abnormality identified.
