What Does This Lab Report Indicate?

DIAGNOSIS: Diffuse disc bulge with annular tear is seen at L4-5 level indenting anterior thecal sac effacing bilateral lateral recesses and mildly impinging on descending nerve roots. Diffuse disc bulge is seen at L5-S1 level indenting anterior thecal sac effacing bilateral lateral recesses and mildly impinging on descending nerve roots. Advised: clinical correlation.

You have hernial disc desease. It doesn't seem a surgery case for the neurochirurgy but you have to do a neurological examination, because not always what the MRI findings correlate with the clinic. So don't worry probably you have to take some AINS pills if you are in pain and exercisis with a physiotherapist for long term benefits.
