Hello DR. my patient according to radio logic findings no significant change noted round inhomogenous density in the right lower lung measuring 5.76 cm in widest diameter as well as the wedge shaped density is seen in the left paracardiac area.no significant interval change in the fibrotic densities in the both upper lungs. Heart is not enlarged. The aortic Knob is calcified. Diaphragm and sulci are intact.Degenerative changes are seen in the visualized osseous structures. IMPRESSION: Pulmonary mass, bilateral, showing no significant interval change Fibrosis, bilateral Atheromatous aorta Osteodegenerative changes what is the condition of my patient ? what exercise she will do? what are the best food she will eat?
Thanks for your question on HCM. In my opinion this x ray reporting is suggestive of mass like lesion. Mass in the lung can be 1. Malignant 2. Benign. But possibility of malignant lung mass is more in your case. I advuce to get done CT THORAX first for better evaluation of mass. And if possible biopsy from the mass for confirmation of the diagnosis. If it turns out to be malignant your patient should eat healthy food like fruits, vegetable. Give her multivitamins for nutritional support.
