General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Your doctor has suggested the required surgery for the diagnosis you have mentioned. The surgery is very much indicated as there is no other option or treatment modality to treat this condition. The surgery has relatively high risk however the child would not be able to manage without a surgery. I would advise you to go for it without any delay. Life after surgery would be good however there will be few restrictions in her physical activity however a lot depends on the surgery and the ability of the child to recover from it.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Anoop Kumar, General & Family Physician
