What Does This Lipid Panel Test Finding Indicate?

Asper my yesterday lipid profile. Serum status Slightly Lipaemic, Triglyceride 373, Total Cholesterol299, LDL 221 and HDL 42, VLDL 36 total hdl Cholesterol ratio 7.12 and LDL/HDL ratio 5.26, I have started taking from last night Roseday F 10 mg and Rosloy 20/150 mg.

Lipid profile is the one which speaks about fat metabolism in the body.
Looking at your lipid profile, it seems many of the parameters are above normal limits. You need to control it because it us not good for your heart im the long run. HDL seems alright with 42mg%.
But nothing much to worry. Apart from drugs, you need keep a watch on diet and exercise.
Advise:
1. Morning or evening brisk walk or jog everyday for 25 to 35 min.
2. Avoid oily and high carbohydrate foods. Keep away from junk.
3. Supplement with good amount of proteins and fibre rich foods like green leafy vegetables and salads.
4. Include consumption of fruits like oranges, papaya and pear which do not add much calories.

Keep a check on blood sugar and lipid profile every 6 months compulsory.
