General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I have gone through your husband's investigation report and found that his HDL level is low, LDL level is high and Triglycerides r also high. For all abnormal parameters make you more prone to develop heart diseases. So, you should take medication to lower the Triglyceride and LDL levels with increasing HDL level.

You can take Fenofibrate once daily. Avoid oily and fatty foods. Take Omega-3 fatty acid enriched foods or supplements regularly. Stop smoking and alcohol consumption. Weight reduction, do some exercises regularly and taking oily fishes regularly with green leafy vegetables will help to improve your lipid parameters.do repeat your Lipid profile test after three months later.

Take care. Hope you have gotten your answer. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Zubayer Alam, General Medicine & Family Physician.
