What Does This Liver Function Test Report Indicate?
i am Mr.alosiyas last one weak i had symptoms of jaundice. so i gave the blood for confirmation test. reports are positive. i m a diebetic patient 48 yrs old. i mentioned below the report of liver function test Bilirubin (total) -2.0mg/dl Bilirubin(Direct)-1.1mgs/dl Bilirubin(Indirect)=0.9mgs/dl SGOT-14 IU/L SGPT-25IU/L what type of treatment i have to take including food also . please suggest me doctor
From the above report, it appears that only your bilirubin levels are high. You need to visit a physician for clinical evaluation to know what type of jaundice you are suffering from. If it is viral, then it subsides on its own within a week to ten days time. You should not eat oily food. Consume more liquids (fresh fruit juices) and easily digestible carbohydrate rich foods.
