hi ! i recently had a blood test for ALT (SGPT) And AST (SGOT) and LIPID profile . Result : ALT (SGPT) 120.4 u/l AST (SGOT) 56.0 U/L LAPID PROFILE : Total Cho : 256.9 mg/dl Triglycerides 156.3 mg/dl HDL 41.0 LDL 184.7 VLDL 31.3 CHO/HDL 6.3 I dont drink alchohol at all .. And No smoking .. Any advice please .. THANK U
Your ALT is high: Suggest hepatitis but bilirubin must be high. Seprate elevation has no significance. It should be correlated with clinical features of jaundice.
Total cholesterol: high TG: Slight high LDL: High
It suggest You have hyper cholesterolemia. It is independent risk factor for cardiovascular disease. Advice for you.
Check sugar level Maintain weight Start regular 30-45 minutes exercise in the morning. Avoid spicy and fatty food. Take fruits containing antioxidant in diet. Take high fiber diet Take small meal rather than large meal. Avoid coldrinks contain sucose Check for HYpertension and diabetes every 6 months. Take garlic in the diet regularly.
