What Does This Liver Test Analysis Result Indicate?
Hi I had recently had a blood work and urinalysis done for a job evaluation. My results came back that my phosphorus levels were barely to low. While my AST and ALT levels were to high. AST at 169 and ALT at 171 is this a major issue? I have done a small amount of research and have read that the levels of AST and ALT can increase due to muscle damage. I exercise very vigorously daily. Would this be a possible cause for the high levels?
You are right. Besides liverinjury AST and ALT also increase due to muscle damage. Avoid vigorous exercise for some days and repeat test again. Finally end with 'Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help". For Follow up questions, end with "If you do not have any clarifications, you can close the discussion and rate the answer. Wish you good health".
