Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Does This Pelvic Examination Report Indicate?
Yes Pls I did a vigina test that reveals a moderate growth of enterococous feacalis. Which was treated with dosage prescribed by the doctor a few weeks back only for me to notice the discharge again after about 2 weeks. What else an done please . Thanks
Since you are having a relapse of the symptoms, you are suggested to get Urinalysis (R/E & C/S) done along with a repeat vaginal test.
Take care of your hygiene. Enterococcus feacalis commonly occurs due to poor hygiene. Wash your hands properly after using washroom/toilet. Avoid using public washrooms.
Improper cleaning of the hands causes the spread of the bacterial infection. If Urinalysis test gives positive reports, you will be treated by antibiotics or a course of combination antibiotics depending upon the severity of your infections.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
