What Does This Pelvic Ultra Sound Report Indicate?

Hello 7 yrs old baby, no pain or burning in urination, no odema. Recent ultra sound in Aga Khan hospital shows both kidneys normal size. Bylateral altered paranchymal echotexture with mild fullness seen in the pelvicalyceal system.U/b normally distended & shows normal wall thickness. No interavesical lesion or calculus seen. Prevoide volume 11.3 ml, postvide volume empty. Doctor suggested dialysis. Is it correct diagnosis. Saulat, karachi (pk)

hi...
this ultra sound report suggest some problem in kidney... but before any suggestions from this report it should be known that dialysis is usually decided by blood level of creatinine and urea and also Body's reaction to that level...

so the report of sonography alone is not sufficient to suggest dialysis... but if blood report correlated with poor renal function..u may need dialysis...
