Hi,

Polyp is nothing but a small tissue growth inside uterus. For you, polyp is removed using a scope i.e., hysteroscopic polypectomy - removal of that small growth by passing a thin light tube through vagina. endometrial ablation is done to destroy the inner layer of uterus to avoid further development of polyps and decrease bleeding.

Your uterus also have big growth (fibroid) and uterus is tipped backwards usually it is folded in front. But retroverted uterus does not cause any problems. Take care of your health in post operative period. Take healthy diet, pain medications. Drink enough water to avoid dehydration.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
