Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Does This Pelvic Ultrasound Test Result Indicate?
what does this mean: There is a 4 cm left ovarian cyst. The endometrial canal is distended and may contain hemorrhagic products. A small amount of free fluid is noted in the pelvis. There is focal soft tissue thickening in the anterior bladder wall, measuring approximately 1.5 cm (image 65, series 3), nonspecific and possibly related to urachal remnant. And I still have pain in the bladder are so what should I do?
Left 4 cm ovarian cyst may require surgery for removal if it is causing discomfort. Fluid in the pelvis may be due to the distended endometrial canal or cervical stenosis. Thickening of the bladder wall may be benign (non cancerous) abnormal tissue growth (papillomas) may be caused by viruses, smooth muscle hypertrophy may cause bladder to thicken.
Since you have pain in the bladder you need to get clinically assessed by a Urologist. Get assessed & treated at the earliest. For ovarian cyst management he may refer you to a OBGYN. Wear loose cotton clothes, quit smoking or addictions if any. Reduce stress, stay well hydrated. Take Tricyclic antidepressants to relax the bladder. You can take NSAIDS, one sos when needed to relieve pain.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
