Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 18 years old and having some pains waist line and below. I have pains where I think my ovaries are located and in my vagina. Sometimes I get sharp pains in my vagina and clit. I also had pain in my lower right side above my hip. When me and my boyfriend have sex, everywhere I said I have pains happen all at once. Even when I lay on my stomach. What could be wrong? And when I visit my Gyno can I have a pelvis ultra sound (I ask because of the pains and I was diagnosed with PCOS and would like to see my ovaries and stuff)?
Based on the pelvic ultrasound, the diagnosis is polycystic ovary syndrome. This is related to the presence of cysts in the ovary and can cause pain in the lower abdomen.
I suggest to use painkillers when you have pain such as Ibuprofen. I also suggest to consult your gynecologist and take specific treatment to treat the presence of the cysts in the ovary.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
