Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Does This Platelet Count From Blood Test Result Indicate?
My Platelets results are 389 High x10E3/uL 150 - 379.It is high? what I can do about it? and my Creatinine, Serum 0.51 Low mg/dL 0.57 - 1.00 ALT (SGPT) 34 High IU/L 0 - 32
I have gone through your query and can understand your concern. Platelet count of 389000 is on slightly higher side and is not significant. If you have clotting realated problems you might be subscribed low dose aspirin.
Having a low level of blood creatinine indicates nothing more than an efficient and effective pair of kidneys. ALT(SGPT) is a liver marker & is increased in liver problems. However slight increase of ALT doesn't indicate any problem, If you are non- alcoholic. If you are alcoholic, consumption of alcohol should be stopped.
Refer to your physician for consultation Don't worry you would be fine Hope this information helps.
