What Does This Post Vasectomy Semen Analysis Indicate?

I had a post vasectomy semen analysis at 8 weeks and was found to have less than 10 immotile sperm per HPF. My doctor would like to retest me in 2 weeks. What I would like to know is if I am considered infertile yet or not? Could I receive the all clear?

Thanks for consulting. I have carefully worked through your case, and I can realize your health worries. Being your physician, I assure you not to worry as I will take care all of your medical concerns.

even after vasectomy you will have to use condom until all the sperms already presenting your genital tubes are cleared. so the microscopic examination is done to see until when your semen is free of sperms. after which you have become completely sterile and will not need a condom.

Hope it helps. If you need further, detailed and quick assistance related to any health issues in future, feel free to 'ask me a question' directly from my profile.

Have a wonderful time ahead.

Best Regards!
