What Does This Pulse Rate For Fatigue And Breathlessness Indicate?

I am 40 years old and i am always tired and get out of breathe easily. I just always figured i was out of shape but then a nurse friend of mine checked my pulse and has been checking it several times a day for several days and it has been between 98 to 115 at rest. I was also doing my daily house work and had to rest often so she gave me her pulse machine to take home and told me to check it often just thru daily activity. I was folding laundry and got very tired and out of breath, so i checked my pulse and it was 151 is this normal.

Hello,

Feeling tired without doing much exertion, means there are some issues with either the heart, low hemoglobin or / and high blood glucose. Hence there is a need to get a detailed check up done. The usual pulse rate range is 70 to 90 / minute. When it goes beyond 100 /minute it is called as tachycardia and is not usual, particularly if one's pulse is normal much lower. 151 / minute is too high. Therefore, please get following investigations done: BP, lipid profile, blood glucose, hemogram and EKG. That will help identify the problem. Neglecting is not good.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
