Hello dear user of HCM!
I appreciate that you are sharing your concerns with us!
I have read and understood your concerns about your sugar level.
Having blood sugar above 126mg/dl in at least to tests, when you haven't eaten anything, indicates
diabetes.
Have you any other complain except this test finding?
Do you urinate more frequently than before? Have you loosing weight despite having good or increased appetite? Do you drink to much water and feel thirsty anyway?
These are the most common signs of diabetes.
If I were your primary doctor, i would suggest you to do a test called Hb1Ac or glycolized
hemoglobin which indicates the average levels of your blood sugar in last three months. If it results high, you have been diabetic for months, or years without knowing it.
Have an appointment with your
endocrinologist to determine the type of diabetes and the way of the treatment with drugs.
Keep a balanced diet, avoid sugars, fats, alcoholic drinks, lose some kilos if you are
overweight and walk at least 40 mins a day.
Wishing you a good healh!
Best regards!
DR ERIOL.
