Hi my name is MEREN. I AM 18 YEARS OLD. So my question is that, today i was diagnose with evidence Moderate proctitis for 5- 10 cm, up to 3rd valve Houtson, mostly with inn first 5 cm. there were a few scattered erosion, inflammatory polyp just above 3rd valve, Biospied . there was ild inflammation in cceum consistent with cecal pouch found in proctitis. the remainder of the colon was normal. so this is all the info i got from my doctor but i have no idea was it mean and what have.

Hello Thanks for your query Moderate proctitis means there is inflammation of the rectum, which can settle with anti inflammatory agents. However there was a polyp also which was called inflammatory, so that is also not of much concern. It is non neoplastic, means it is not a tumor. But you need to be regular on your medications and have good dietary habits, to prevent progression to inflammatory bowel disease. Hope this helps Regards
