What Does This Result From MRI For Spine Indicate?
My mom is 53 years old .Afrter an MRI the impression is as follows.Early lumbar spondylosis.Diffuse pseudodisc bulge with broadbased posterocentral and bilateral posterolateral disc /osteophytes protrusion with mild ligamentum flavum hypertrophy and disc dessication seen at L4-5 disc level causing thecal sac indentation and bilateral neural foraminal narrowing with impression on exiting nerve roots on right sides causing moderate canal stenosis in MR mylography.Mild ligamentum flavum hypertrophy with early facetal arthrosis seen at L3-4 & L4-5 disc levels causing mild posterior thecal sac indentation.Please clarify the treatment opitions available and also about the permanent cure for this conditon .Can she travel in flight (travel time 20 hrs) with this condition,if so what are the precautions to be taken?
