I have suffered a few mini strokes, Dr s can not find out what is causing them, Hospital has supplied a letter following an mri, but refuses to explain what the results mean. The Dr told me off for asking what these areas control. I am confused by the internet, some of the letter reads There is a large old right MCA artery territory frontal cortical infarct. T2 and FLAIR hight signal focus ain teh left frontal lobe (coronal image 12, sagittal FLAIR image 16), probably ischaemic in origin as well. Old lucanar infarct in the right thalamus. Probable small infarct in the right occipital lobe (axial image 10). Mildly advanced for age cortical involution. Can you explain how these mini strokes affect what I do?
