What Does This Result From Biopsy And Blood Test Indicate For Return Of Breast Cancer?
My cousin had breast cancer 5years ago. Last month on 6 month check they did biopsy on calsifications and found it to be benign. Last week she had blood test and markers are up. So repeated and up higher from 40 to 66. Now chest cat scan abd bone scan to be done. How much of a concern for cancer return?

Recurrence of cancer is proven by biopsy and histopathological examination. Breast cancer can re-occur especially when is of aggressive type.
