General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

In the routine chest x-rays with PA views, because of the overlapping ribs, clavicle and lung shadows the upper parts of the lungs are not clearly visualized.

The suspicious densities in the right upper lobe are better seen in the apicolordotic view hence your radiologist has recommended it for proper reporting and diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali
