What Does This Result From Semen Analysis Indicate?
Hi there. Had a vasectomy 7 months ago. I recently had a semen analysis that read:1 spermatozoa per high powered field.How much sperm is that actually?It was 10 per HPF in the previous analysis done a few months prior.Lots of time has passed since the vasectomy and I have ejaculated a lot so I expected to have zero.Any helpful thoughts on that?Thanks

You had vasectomy 7 months ago , so semen analysis should not show any sperm , while according to in one field examined under microscope and there is one sprematozoa ( may be a mistake ) .
So at present consult your operating surgeon and discuss all in detail.
As sometimes a leakage may be responsible for sperm ejaculation.
So need not to worry do protected sex till zero sperms in HPF.
