What Does This Scan Report Of Uterus Indicate?

I have a hypoechoic lesion of size 6.1 x 6.0 cm seen in left adnexa. The left ovary is seen adjacent to the lesion. There are multiple thin septations of maximum thickness 1 mm seen within the lesion. However there is no evidence of any solid component within the lesion or vascularity within septation. My Uterus and endometrium are normal in size. My periods are regular, but have gradually turned very light and short gradually since last two years. Could you please suggest me the dangers, related precautions and possibilities of cure and diagnosis?
