Hello and welcome to HCM,
The interpretation of
semen analysis is as follows:
The physical characters - gray-white color, 3 ml volume, normal viscosity, alkaline reaction and 30 minutes liquefaction time are normal findings.
The
sperm count of 17.4 million/ ml is a normal finding.
In a normal semen sample, sperm count should be atleast 15 million/ ml.
At least 42% of sperms should have fast progressive forward motion.
In your case motility of sperms is 60% which is in normal range.
Atleast 50% of sperms should have normal morphology.
In your case only 20% have abnormal morphology and rest 80% have normal morphology.
Presence of numerous pus cells is abnormal.
Presence of pus cells indicates infection in semen.
The infection should be treated and semen examination should be repeated.
Thanks and take care
