What Does This Semen Analysis Report Indicate?

Hi, need your assistance to explain my semen analysis report. quantity 2.5cc. count 110million/ml...active 20% sluggish 20% non-motile 60% ..pus cells 3-4 hpf....RBC 0-1 hpf...spermatogenic cell postive....abnormal 25%..thank you for your anticipated help

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The interpretation of semen analysis is as follows:
The volume of semen of 2.5 ml is normal and is within range.
Sperm count of 110 million/ ml is also normal range. The normal sperm count should be more than 20 million/ ml.
Th motility of sperms is slightly below normal range.
The active and sluggish motility should be at least 42% but it is 40% in your case.
Presence of 3-4 pus cells is normal.
No comment is made about the morphology of the sperms.
Thus, the motility is slightly on lower side, rest of the report is within normal range.
