What Does This Semen Analysis Report Indicate?

Me & my wife are trying for pregnance for about 13 months , i did semen analysis & count is 75 mil/ ml , volume 3.5 ml active motile 20% sluggish 40% non motile 40% normal morphology 60% & PH is 8.5 . Please help me tell me what to do as my doctor give multivitamin supplements , what is my options & how cn i improve my sperms motility . Thanks for your kind opinion .

According to your semen analysis , you have 75 Million sperms/ml which is normal . As per motility , 20 % are rapid motile, 40% are sluggish motile & rest are dead. So all together motility is slightly less.
So according to your semen analysis report you have asthenospermia, which is reduction in motility of sperms. This might be reason of infertility problem you are facing.
This problem could arise due to abnormal liquification of sperms, some nutritional deficiency & some testicular problems. Excessive stress can also alter motility of sperms. So don't take excessive stress. Your doctor has prescribed you multivitamins for nutritional deficiency. You should avoid taking steam bath or hot water bath.
