What Does This Semen Analysis Report Indicate?

Hi sir My self MD rahaman. Few days back I had go to doctor,for fertility check up.he done male fertility profile check up.and my result is,active motility 30%.and sluggish motility 60%.and non motility 10%.pls brief me what is the mean by above three.and what type of food I should take to improve my sperm count.present sperm count is 15 mill/ml.what persentsge required to fertile.if I use medicine then how many days will take to improve it.pls guide me.I will wait for your valuable suggestions... Hi,

A normal sperm count ranges from 15 million sperm to more than 200 million sperm per milliliter (ml) of semen. Your sperm count is on the lower side of the normal limits.

Also, normally sperm motility which is active should be more than 60%. Your report is indicating that actively motile sperms to be 30%, which is less than normal.

Kindly take medications containing L-carnitine, Alpha lipoic acid, Lecithin, CoQ10, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Selenium and Zinc, which will provide appropriate nutrients for sperm maturity and functioning. You need to take it for 3 months and get semen analysis done again to look for the improvement.
