RESULT SHOWS Volume 2.5ml ph 8 colour gray liqefaction time 30 viscosity normal motility active forms nil% sluggish form 60% inactive forms 40% total sperm count 85 million/ml pus cells 2-4/hpf rbc 0-1/hpf epethelial cells nil/hpf normal 70% abnormal 30% what does this result indicate. I already have 2 kids we wish to have one more planning to go for IVF as we stopped pregnancy after our 2nd kid. IVF doctor advised for the semen test reult as above, please advice
Hello dear I understand your concern All the semen parameter are normal except active sperm motility. You have zero sperm that is actively motile. Normal sperm motility means that more than 40% of the sperm should be moving. So sorry to say, you can not become father without motile sperm. I would suggest to consult the urologist and undergo Color dopper USG and semen culture to rule out any problem in accessory sexual gland. Clomiphene citrate can be helpful Avoid stress, take healthy diet and do regular exercise. If n improvement then only treatment id IVF. Hope this may help you
