Hi,
The following things can be inferred based on the
semen analysis report you have enclosed.
1. Colour seems to be normal.
2. pH of 7.5 can be considered as normal, but it should be more alkaline.
3. Liquefaction time is prolonged and the liquefaction process is incomplete.
4.
Sperm motility with 50% actively motile seems to be slightly less than normal.
5. Sperm morphology with 35% normal forms is less than normal.
6.
Sperm count of 25.2 million/ml is normal, but with only 30% of sperms viable is less.
Hence, the
fertility factor seems to be less due to incomplete liquefaction, less actively motile sperms, less normal forms and less viable forms of sperms. The reason could be due to presence of infection in the genital tract, which needs to be investigated and treated. Kindly consult Surgeon in this regard for appropriate evaluation and treatment. Following the course of treatment, you need to get another semen analysis done after 3 months to look for the improvement.
Hope the information provided would be helpful. Let me know if I can assist you further. All the best.
Regards,
Dr. Ashakiran S
